Merrimack Game Day

Post by UD '01 grad »

Acknowledging what homepage of this website says, note this Merrimack fan article doesn't list a defined game day/time for the Delaware game.

https://www.themackreport.com/p/merrima ... -travel-to

Not listed here either yet:

https://fbschedules.com/2026-college-football-schedule/

https://fbschedules.com/2026-delaware-f ... -schedule/

May likely end up there. We'll see. If it was officially announced by UD I missed it.

Our GoHens schedule page has Merrimack on 9/3 and Coastal on 9/19. UD official site has them flip-flopped. Not sure which is correct, but I would assume Bluehens.com may be in error?

This article explains the date change of Coastal Carolina to 9/19... I assume Merrimack will be 9/3, but haven't seen that officially reported anywhere.

Large enough stadium, a fellow PA State University. Probably a crowd that is 80-90% PSU, and they get much of the gate. Just a guess.

Yup, they've done that before. It's basically a Penn State home game in a major city in the same state. If Temple didn't have the Linc and the size of the stadium it would never happen.

This isn’t anything new for this series. Out of the 45 times they’ve played, 19 of those games have been in Philly. Ask me closer to the fall about this one as PSU is doing quite a heavy roster overhaul between graduation and guys that left. “Iowa State east”?
UD to FBS. I never thought I’d see the day

When is the last time Temple has beat Penn State?

I do remember Temple coming to Philadelphia a few times back in the mid to late 70s and had some really great games

Thank you KT !

So 2015 was the last one

The one before that was October of 1941, or before Pearl Harbor
