I think there may be some signs towards him being committed now as well. Ghandi put one of his social media gifs up last night, which usually indicates someone has committed.

If this guy is the last spot, I like his size But was hoping to see another true center on the roster 610+

Have to be happy with the recruiting efforts this year brought in size athleticism, defense, and shooting

Just need everyone to be healthy

Egbuna is a Hen. I really like what MBB has done this off season. It is a put up or shut up year for MI and on paper, I feel like this program has really improved. On paper only goes so far though.

Totally agree…this has to be considered MI’s most complete offseason recruiting/transfer cycle in his 11 years. As others have stated, on paper we should be very well positioned to compete with the upper echelon of teams in the CUSA. But we all know UD always seems to have something happen between pen & paper and the court. Would love to one time see all the pieces come together in reality. This has to the season we see results on the floor!

This seems encouraging…

Favour Egbuna (Class of 2026) is a 6'9" power forward/center for Florida Coastal Prep who has been described as a dominant force with significant upside.Key Ratings and Scouting Highlights:Physicality & Rebounding: Described as built like an "ox" with long arms, making him highly effective on the boards, according to Prep Hoops.Defensive Ability: Considered a elite defender for his size, possessing the ability to slide his feet to defend guards while also holding his own in the paint against bigs.Offensive Game: While described as "raw" in the post, he has shown potential with drop-step moves and is considered a "matchup nightmare" due to his combination of strength and skill.Prospect Ranking: Recognized as a top prospect in the 2026 class, attending elite events like the Pangos All-American Camp.Recruitment: Received a Division 1 offer from Duquesne University in March 2026, as reported by Verbal Commits. He plays with high intensity and is considered a rising talent in the 2026 class.

Alot of new faces...who knows what the rotation will look like but IF everyone is healthy, assume it will look like this

Starter w/ backups

PG-Dinkins-Ellison
SG - Bailey - Petronio
sf - DHS - Brown - Kazanecki - Valencia
PF - Nzeh - Alvin-Taylor
C - Solano-Egbuna

Guys highlighted is my guess for some sort of rotational mins and rotation tightens as we get into conf play. Kazanecki and Taylo getting mins last year should pay dividends this year. Alot of options for MI to play with. Who knows what Petronio will bring so maybe he starts. I have heard good things about him. Maybe Brown starts over DHS. Will be an interesting summer and early fall

On paper, certainly looks like a deep roster with a great deal of ability. A nice mix of proven experience with a few guys with high-level potential. Hoping against hope that injuries don’t bite us in the @ss yet again. Really appears that the staff and admin are doing everything they can to finally turn this thing around. I’m actually very intrigued by Egbuna. Feels like the kind of recruit we wouldn’t have a shot out historically. Everything I’ve been able to find on him is very positive with a lot of upside. The kind of physical low-post body/presence we haven’t had in some time. The upcoming season has a chance to be very interesting.

Torvik is a data guy.

Has Delaware with the 75th most talented roster in the country and #1 in CUSA. Promising on paper but will need to see good results this year.

We would be 3rd in A10, clear 1st in CAA, 4th in American

We are also 2nd in CUSA in returning mins production and 2nd in expected transfer production

Really interesting information and numbers. Sure hope it finally translates to better play on the Court. Should be an interesting season. Carry your Roster card with you at the games for sure

based on past history, I'm not going to hold my breath. I will cross my fingers and hope. I can especially understand the positivity if you are a local fan and attend many games. Hope springs eternal!

BTW-Tennessee has loaded up pretty stoutly, and I expect an "interesting" season. these new players are always a crap shoot. Barnes has produced solid records, but can't crack the Big Time and win a NC- x's and o's really do matter.

Dont think anybody is holding their breath. This is a make or break year...we all know this. Nothing wrong with highlighting some positives.

Looks like the team will be on campus in 2 weeks per social media. Be nice to get some summer action shots and EVERYONE be healthy
